About Us

Hi, I'm Cory.
I came to yogurt from an unlikely direction. My background is in architecture, film, and animation — disciplines that are really about one thing: making something with care and getting the details right.
I've also spent most of my life in sport. Soccer, tennis, rugby — I represented Singapore across various age groups, and most recently at the Touch Rugby World Cup in 2019 and 2024. These days when I'm able to, I try to squeeze in an early morning mountain bike ride before the kitchen gets going.
When you train seriously, you pay attention to what you eat. Years before Artisanal Yogurt began, both my doctor and Homer's vet had the same advice — we needed more probiotics in our diets. I didn't want to take them in pill form. I wanted to eat them the way they were meant to be consumed — in real, live-cultured food.
So I started making yogurt at home. Our English Cocker Spaniel Homer became the chief taster of every batch, and eventually refused to eat a meal without yogurt in it. He was onto something. We began to feel the benefits too — better digestion, improved energy, and a stronger sense of overall wellness.
It took three to four years of making, refining, and learning before I felt confident enough to share it beyond our kitchen. Artisanal Yogurt launched in 2020 — and Homer was there for it.
Poochie-Poo, our dog yogurt, was created because of him. He lived to 16.5 years old — long enough to see it launch. He passed not long after.
Six years on, the ingredients and values haven't changed — but the craft has deepened. Australian free-range milk, heirloom cultures, no added sugar, no preservatives. Made by hand in small batches every week — the same way it's been made for centuries, before convenience got in the way.
Every jar leaves our kitchen fresh. If it's in your fridge, it was made for you this week.
